History of GAF

Formed in 2017 by like-minded parents with public and private school children.  For years it has been clear that our youth athletes have the desire to perform at the highest level possible.  Our goal is to improve existing athletic facilities and support new ones in town that meet the needs of all Greenwich town residents. Greenwich has a strong history of athletics with many home town athletes going on to compete in the NFL, Olympics, MLB, NHL and more.  Whatever level our children wish to compete, they deserve the best facilities that we can provide.  There are so many great public/private partnerships that have benefited our town over the years and we hope to become another.

• We are a tax deductible 501c(3) registered in the state of Connecticut

• We are all local volunteers eager to support children in public and private school.

• We are coaches and parents from a wide variety of school teams and local non-profit teams.

• We welcome support from local citizens, companies, schools, teams or friends.
